Involved in real estate brokerage and development in Coweta County since 1981, Jim assisted brokers in a number of retail and office site selections including Red Lobster, Steak & Shake, Chick-fil-A, and the Delta Community Credit Union.
Jim also assisted developer Stan Thomas of Thomas Enterprises, Inc., in acquisition of the properties where The Home Depot and The Forum at Ashley Park are now located.
Active in the community both personally and professionally, Jim sits on the Board of the Development Authority of Coweta County. He is President of the Homeowners Association and developer of Lake Redwine Plantation, a 1,300-acre, master planned community. Jim is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Neighborhood Community Bank and is Member Manager and Chairman of the Executive Committee for OutMed, LLC, an investment group headquartered in Newnan. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Newnan Country Club; Orchard Hills Golf, Inc., developer and owner of a 27-hole golf course; Stillwood Farms, a 345-acre mixed use, master-planned community; and the Villages of Calumet, a 350-acre, master-planned community.
Jim received a BBA from the University of Georgia and resides in Newnan. He serves on the Board of the West Central Technical College Foundation as well as on a committee appointed by the City of Newnan to address low-income housing and neighborhood redevelopment.
