The Newnan/Coweta Life & Lifestyle ...

Welcome!  Newnan is our home.  We'd love to help make it yours!

You've found it:  the town that's got it all and still retains its "small town" feel. The folks are friendly, the homes are beautiful, and any place you wish to shop or dine can be found here. This is Newnan. It's Coweta County.

Atlanta, I-85, West Point, the new KIA automotive plant, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport - all of these are convenient to Newnan & Coweta County!

The Interstate, I-85, has several Coweta exits, so wherever you are, chances are I-85 is not far away.  We're also an easy commute to downtown Atlanta which is approximately 35 miles away. If you'd rather not drive, Xpress Bus commuter service is available, departing weekdays from Newnan to midtown & downtown Atlanta.

Perhaps most import is our proximity to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).  Newnan is approximately 29 miles south of the "world's busiest airport." Coweta County is also less than one hour away from West Point, Georgia, home of the new KIA automotive plant.

Newnan & other Coweta County cities
The individual towns and cities of Coweta County each boast their own unique charm and appeal!  Stroll down main street. Visit the shops on the town square. Take in the sights of the many historic homes or relax in the parks. There’s so much to see and do. Make plans to visit today.

NEWNAN
Also known as The City of Homes, Newnan enjoys a rich history.  Newnan has six historic districts on the National Register.  Beautiful examples of antebellum and Victorian architecture are found throughout the City.  Main Street Newnan actively promotes its busy downtown area where you'll find a variety of quaint shops & local restaurants centered around the historic, 1904 Old Courthouse Square. Parks are a short stroll away, too! Come see it, and you'll love it!  Visit the official City of Newnan Web site here.

SENOIA
History and charm live here!  Like Newnan, Senoia has its share of historic homes. Approximately 150 Greek Revival, antebellum, and Victorian homes can be found there. Visit the Buggy Shop Museum, shop or eat downtown, or plan to stay at one of the beautiful Bed & Breakfasts!  Senoia is also home to Riverwood Studios, where Fried Green Tomatoes and other movies were filmed. Click here to visit The City of Senoia's Web site.

MORELAND
Lewis Grizzard, famed Southern humorist, and accomplished author Erskine Caldwell hail from Moreland.  Museums dedicated to its aforementioned famous sons, equestrian farms, natural beauty, and a rural feel give Moreland its appeal.

GRANTVILLE
Welcome to Smalltown, USA!  Castles and railroads and cannonballs,oh my!  Grantville's old freight depot can still be found near the center of town. Historic mills, mill villages, and churches are also part of this cozy community once known as Calico Corners.  Perhaps its most visually stunning home is, well, a castle!  Built in 1896, the Victorian-Romanesque Bonnie Castle, once a private home (make that mansion!), is now a bed & breakfast.  Grantville is also home to the Smith-Wilson house, complete with authentic Civil War cannonball! With restaurants, shops, art, and a steady calendar of events, Grantville is ready to charm you!  Visit http://www.grantville.net/.
